This infographic from ConsolidatedCredit.org contrasts the amazing changes in the cost of education throughout the years. The average debt that a graduate today can expect is $25,000 and that entire 4-year education can cost $414,000. I know you know this is crazy but here is a personal story.

My aunt who was born in the early 20’s, graduated high school at 16 years old. She received a full, 4-year scholarship to Temple University at that time. Guess how much? Ready….$900! That wouldn’t even pay for books today!
