US Retail Sales
Advance estimates of U.S. retail sales for April, were $275.5 billion, an increase of 0.8 percent from March and up 3.1 percent from April 2000, the Census Bureau announced today. Total sales for the February through April period were up 2.4 percent from the same period a year ago.
