Disposbale Income and Household Debt
In 1991 the country was spending 12.6 percent of its disposbale income on household debt. As of Oct. 2001 the ratio now stands at 14.1 pecent. Close to the 15 percent level that financial pros flag as the line between having debt and having a debt problem.
