Internet banks and ATM fees
Only 11% of Internet banks surveyed recently by Bankrate.com charge customers to use another institution's ATMs, compared with 88% of traditional banks. And more Internet banks are reimbursing customers for other banks' surcharges: 64% cover such charges now, up from 58% six months ago. Most will reimburse four surcharges of $1.50 each.
